The Three Incarnations of Grand Central Station

Many New Yorkers are unaware that two other incarnations of Grand Central Station preceded the current Beaux-Arts masterpiece.  Above are four views of these buildings all from the same vantage point and all mapped on SepiaTown.

  2. Indeed, its official name is 'Grand Central Terminal' but since 90% of the population (including the conductors on the Metro North trains that use the terminal) refers to it as 'Grand Central Station' we figured we'd go with that.

  3. Grand Central Station inside, including the Market, Food Court and Oyster Bar, is one of the highlights of NYC!
